My Weeklong Movie Craze
July 9, 2005 by iamdoods
My week has been a great movie-watching experience and I am listing them here.
- The Adventure of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - As what I’ve have texted a friend of mine, "How would you like to watch Terence Stamp, Hugo ‘Mr. Smith’ Weaving, and Guy Pearce in drag?" Some says that it was the best drag queen movie of all time, and it was. Indeed a great movie experience as the three drag queens share their lives on the desert.
- The Machinist - Christian Bale on his skinniest look. He looked like a malnourished kid from Africa. He looked different but the acting was good. It had a very good ending. I’m not going to give out some spoilers.
- Reservoir Dogs - A Quentin Tarantino film. All I can say is, "God why is he so good?"
- Runaway Jury - A friend of mine rented this one and I was eager to see it because I’ve read the book. There had been some changes made but still, as always, the book is better.
- Hotel Rwanda - OMG! This movie will break your heart and make you hate the insensitive. The protagonist in the movie that was perfectly played by Don Cheadle was recently been awarded with the International Freedom Award. It’s a story about an ordinary person in a war-inflicted area who has able to save a lot of his people from being slashed to death by keeping them inside his managed hotel.
