My Being ME…

Wednesday night.
At the sofa.
Waiting for the news to end.
Or trying to listen to some Koreans talking in Tagalog.
Lifting my eyelids to stay awake.

And there it is. My favorite show. The only show that keeps me awake all night until Ryan says his out. American Idol, my Idol. corny!

I know I am a frustrated singer myself. The four walls in the bathroom are my only audience. If they talk back, I don’t know what are they going to say. So I just sit back and relax, trying to listen to every contestant singing their hearts out. What more could I say, AI has been better every season and it really is getting better.

My bets are on Katharine McPhee and Elliot Yamin. Katharine is effortless, she sings like and angel and she is the next Constantine with her constant posed in front of the camera. The effortlessness is what I loved about her. She is amazing.

Elliot is her male counterpart. A raspy voice, he could take a lungful of notes, and he dances well. The judges love him and savor every performance he does. This guy is amazing too.

Can’t wait for next Wednesday.

Got to catch them again.
