My Oh my… Lady in the Water.. confusing…

I’m an avid fan of M. Night Shyamalan. I haven’t seen Wide Awake though, his post-Six Sense movie. What I loved about his movies is his way of telling a story. As expected, Lady in the Water is another great storytelling from the Shyamalan, credited as Writer/Director/Producer. But with a little confusion which I was able to conprehend after watching the film. It’s quite enjoyable, watching how the story evolves after each scene. And for the first time, there is no surprises at the end.
As always, there a lot of interesting character in the movie, a film critic who thinks he knows a lot, a body builder who only exercises half of his body and a lot more. Also the setting, a multi-racial apartment where everything happens. It’s like one of those days where you just want to sit and listen to the actors talk. I know there are people who doesn’t like a movie where there a lot of talking. There are lots of funny lines, great lines, and conflicts. It’s a fairy tale but there is something I could not understand, or should I have to understand it?
There are lots of questions, like why do this people are so trusting? But of course I will forgive him, because I just love the movie so much. Waiting for his next project!
Paul Giamatti is great, so is Bryce Dallas Howard, who we will be seeing as the other woman, Gewn Stacy, in the next Spider-man movie.
Now I’m waiting for Clerks II.
I’m good!
