Sukob… was it good?

It was first day of the showing and my housemates were very eager to watch the movie. We planned to watch at GS Mall for the 8:30pm showing but unfortunately, the schedule was at 8:00PM. We got out of the appartment at around 8:10PM so we missed the GS Mall showing. We then decided to watch it at GMall whose schedule is at 9:30. When we got inside the cinema, the seats were full. Wow! everyone must have been this excited.
What worked?
- Simply, Claudine is great in the acting department. How much I want to be with her to help her in those dangerous scenes.
- The cimepatography is wonderful. It gives me chills at times looking at the way the camera is handled. Good thing, Direk Chito chose a good one.
- The tone of colors of the differennt scenes of Claude and Kris gives me an idea that they where both on a different realms but actually they were on different places. Nice work!
- Maja Salvador delivers another good acting. This girl has done a lot of goodness in television shows and I’m hoping that she’ll have a movie all by herself.
What didn’t worked?
- I still could not take Kris’ acting. At times I think she has bowel problems. She looks constipated.
- Where does the girl who takes those people they loved came from. Is she the one who is there if there is a "sumpa"? Where did she came from? Why is she bringing wraths?
- Wendell Ramos is a good actor?
Conclusion
Chills and thrills are everywhere, although at times I think that the audience just want to scream their lungs out. I think it was just my curiosity that brought me to this movie. There are times that I was more attentive at the audience who are screaming and girls hugging their boyfriends during thrills. Without a doubt, Chito Roño is good at this genre.
Sukob na! Halika na! Sabay tayo sa payong ko!
Hehe!
