My Being ME…

Mess hall… messy… mess me? hehehe…

I was struggling to keep everything tidy for my eyes to see. Although I am not a very clean person, I just bathe in the morning, wash my face at night. I am not vain. But the look of mess around the apartment irks me. I’ve been telling my landlord about the mess and little rubbish in the house for sometime and been tired tailing them and putting them where they should be. Can you imagine, our ref is cleaned today and the next day it’s full of groceries that will stay there for a lifetime, or the next time it is cleaned again?

I am maybe just stereotyping that nursing students are clean. Or are they supposed to be? That’s most of my housemates are studying to become a nurse and I’ve been wondering why they can’t even lift there used cotton balls to the garbage cans. Or unless someone will clean a plate on the sink, the plate will mold there for all the time. How can someone be so insensitive?

Work is much like the apartment, but the mess I’m cleaning out here is not the kind of mess I could clean up by lifting a cotton ball to the can. Here, I get to clean up an entire work. I even call myself now, the Cleaner. Nice!

I was tasked to clean up a messed-up project and I couldn’t find the line where I should begin with. Fortunately, it was done in no time with TOO much help from my colleagues. With guidance and much brainstorming, now it is done. I am awaiting the next step of the project, the exruciating FEEDBACK. I am just hoping it will be nice and easy for me to handle.

This is life, and mess is part of it, as well as cleaning it up. Mind you, my life is never a mess, I treasure every single moment of it. But the hardest part of it is cleaning the mess I didn’t do.
