TV is my new passion… as of now…

The last movie I’ve seen was the Toni-Sam tandem, You are the One. While waiting for The Prestige to be shown, I happen to enjoy TV series on DVDs and on local TV. So what are my favorites? Here’s the list:
10. Rome - Phallics here and there, nudity, sex and violence and everything fleshy. The series is an HBO original and the beatifully written. I get a dose of history as well. Although some of the characters have been exaggerated to make it more appealling.
9. Survivor/Amazing Race - Survivor got good looking people with pinoys as players. Amzing Race has a lot of pain and stuggles. That’s all I can say.
8. Heroes - New series from NBC. Although I have seen only 2 episodes online, it has a nice story but I’ll just have to wait for the DVD.
7. Grey’s Anatomy - Doctors falling in love with blood and surgery in between scenes.
6. Smallville - From the time his spaceship crashed on Kansas, killing Lana’s parents, befriending Lex Luthor and getting copied by Captain Barbell (hehehe! very obvious), I couldn’t get enough of Clark’s quest. Now that he is in college, with only his Senator mother on his side after the dark Thursday, and I’ve heard the Justice League is about to be created by Green Arrow, I shouldn’t miss an episode.
5. Desperate Housewives - These housewives are funny and crazy. A nice dark comedy for all.
4. 24 - I’m still wating for the next season. What could Bauer be up this time around? Heard new casts are on their way.
3. Nip/Tuck - Good-looking plastic surgeons who are out to beautify every person who have problems with thier physicals. "So tell us, what you don’t like about yourself?"
2. Lost - Mystery and misery. Now that Jack, Sawyer, and Kate have been captured by the others, they say the story will focus on the lives of the others. The first episode of the third season is mind-blowing. Nice start.
1. (I have 2)
Veronica Mars - Buffy kicks ass and so does Veronica. A young PI, now she’s in college and her life’s becomes more complicated. I love every single line she utters. Studio 23 should get this series. The best series ever.
and
CSI - I could watch an episode a number of times and still loved every minute of it.
Thanks. And I’m out!
